#16 – Billy Joel (Christie Brinkley)
“Uptown girl she’s been living in her uptown world.” One of the best-selling recording artists of all time, Billy Joel skyrocketed to stardom with the release of his first hit song – “The Piano Man” – in 1973 and hasn’t looked back since. The six-time Grammy Award winner even proved that his personal life was just as hot as his career with the release of “Uptown Girl” in 1983 which was inspired by his relationship with then-girlfriend Elle Macpherson and his future flame, Christie Brinkley.
Just as the “Uptown Girl” music video shows a normal guy wooing a beautiful woman far out of his league, Joel wooed Brinkley straight to the altar in March 1985. Only five years younger than Joel whose life in the music industry had already begun to age him, Brinkley gave birth to their daughter, Alexa Ray, in December 1985. Divorcing in 1994 and remaining friends with Brinkley, Joel went on to marry knockouts Katie Lee (2004-2009) and Alexis Roderick (2015-present), giving this musician plenty of inspiration for future hits!
